3D printers have found wide application in dentistry, bringing a revolution in the way of designing and manufacturing prostheses, implants and orthodontic appliances. Thanks to 3D printing, it is possible to precisely adjust dentures and implants to the individual needs of the patient, which translates into better treatment results and wearing comfort. Dentists also use 3D printers to create tooth models, which facilitates treatment planning and patient education.
3D printing in dentistry speeds up the production process, eliminates the need to use traditional casts and allows access to more advanced materials, such as biocompatible polymers or metal alloys.
